2026 Season Information

A big welcome to everyone for the 2026 Season!

  • Club Trial Window - We highly encourage all clubs to hold their trials between the 1st & 15th March
  • Grading for all inside teams -  Grading will take place the first 4 weeks in May for all inside Senior and Collegiate grades.  Please read the grading guidelines for more information.  
  • Rep Trials (U16 and U18) - 28th & 29th March, April 1st 
  • Tuesday 31st March 6:30-8pm (Upstairs in Netball Pavilion) – Club and School Information Evening – Save this date in the calendar.  More information to follow in the new year.
  • Ultimate Umpire Weekend - 18th and 19th April 
  • Geraldine Hodgson Pre-season Festival Day – SUNDAY 19th April  ​​​​​
  • All team and Player  registrations close on - Tuesday 31st March - All teams and players must be registered by this date!​​​​​​​
  • Umpiring  Sessions  – Keep an eye out in the new year for more information
  • Game Day Scoring APP – All teams will use this for 2026. The only exception is the Year 5-6 futureFERN teams who will continue to use a physical scorecard.
  • Club/School Duty Days – For all Clubs and Secondary Schools there will be ONE Duty day (On a Saturday) for the 2026 season (Same as in 2025). Roster for 2026 will be circulated pre-season
  • Named Umpire Programme – This will be done as it was in 2025.  All teams that play inside will be required to do this. Training and support will be provided by NNC. Keep an eye out for more information  in the pre-season.
  • Outside Collegiate Grades - Will have 2 rounds – The same as 2025.
  • Premier Grade changes - Skins will be introduced for the 2 competition rounds 
  • Promotion Relegation of Senior 1 to Premier – There will be only one promotion relegation game for this - Sunday 5th July (after the end of the first competition round)
  • Finals Day (Inside Teams)  - Saturday 22nd August - Just 1v2 will play.
  • Finals Day (Outside Collegiate) - Saturday 8th August - ALL teams will play. 
  • Last day for Year 7-8 - Saturday 8th August - ALL teams will play. 
  • Last day for Year 5-6 (Festival Day) - Saturday 1st August.
