Walking Netball​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Walking Netball is for anyone who still wants to keep active, enjoys the game without the worry of having to run or jump. New mums, parents, grandparents - it is open to all ages. There is a big emphasis on keeping it fun and social. The format will be some skill activities followed by mini games then onto full court games. Our Walking Netball programme runs during term time only, please see our playing dates below. 

Cost: $5 each session (cash only - No eftpos)

When: Tuesdays from 10:45am-11:45am inside Saxton Stadium

Dates: Term 1 2024: 13th February - 9th April

Rules are:

Participants must be over 18 years of age

No running or jumping - one foot must be on the ground at all times

Player can hold the ball for up to 4 seconds

Maximum of three males on courts at any one time - one in the defence circle area, one in the mid-court area and one in the shooting circle area. Otherwise all-play, any position available.​​​​​​​

No previous playing ability required just turn up in your active wear and do what you can!!​​​​​​​
