Trials and team selections are in full swing which means the netball season is just around the corner!! Before we kick off our regular competition there are a few housekeeping bits and pieces to get ticked off by everyone so please have a read of everything below (including the news articles) and ensure you action the relevant items.
Sporty Registrations - All club/school registrations are open in Sporty. Following your trials, please ensure players are loaded into your Sporty system and correct teams are created - please also make sure each team has an allocated Coach and/or Manager as these will become our contact points for teams throughout the season.
GH Tournament - Registrations are now open for our pre-season tournament which will be happening on Saturday 4th April. Information is available at - http://www.nelsonnetball.co.nz/Tournaments-Events/Geraldine-Hodgson-Tournament.
Coaching in 2020? Are you new to coaching this season or looking to increase your 'book of tricks'? Nelson Netball is running coaching modules prior to the season for ALL levels of coaches. Information and registration - http://www.nelsonnetball.co.nz/Coach/Coaching-Courses.
Umpire Registration - Keen to jump behind the whistle in 2020? Nelson Netball is always on the lookout for new umpires (anyone older than Year 7 can get involved). Visit http://www.nelsonnetball.co.nz/Game-Officials-1/Umpire-2 for more information.
Representative Teams - Nelson Netball is excited to release dates and information for our 2020 Rep Teams. Trial registration is currently open for our U14/U15 & U16 teams at http://www.sporty.co.nz/viewform/117946. Information regarding our Rep Teams is available on our website (U18 Rep Trials will open in April).
Holiday Programme - After a small break in 2019, Nelson Netball is bringing back our popular Holiday Programme. The first one will be happening in the April holidays on Tuesday 21st, Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd.
